A 74-year-old woman plowed through the front window of Joe's Food Mart yesterday evening, then walked over to the cooler and pulled out a six-pack of Budweiser beer to purchase.
Lynn Rice of Norwalk, was driving her 1988 Cadillac according to Los Angeles County Sheriff, when she drove about half way through the convenience store. Lt Jenny Han said she was taken to a hospital for an examination because of a medical condition. Rice was arrested for investigation of misdemeanor driving under the influence. According to authorities she was released on $15,000 bail.
