Well, it's kind of like a roundup lead, but this really functions more like a long subhead to the title than like a lead.
ReplyDeleteNormally, a roundup lead is used when no one element of a story (usually on a meeting or event) stands out. This just identifies the three stories that will be discussed in the column that follows.
